Abstract

In a global world characterized by competition both between companies and between countries, where wars are increasingly taking place in the economic field, the competition acquires a special protagonism, and it becomes vital for the businessman to dominate all the information and the knowledge that have a strategic interest, as well as to optimize his models of analysis to be able to anticipate the threats, and to take advantage of opportunities that, more and more frequently, occur and are known in real time, being the Competitive Intelligence the most suitable tool to obtain this purpose. The objective of this document is to provide an operative model, systematic and viable, that allows to implement the Competitive Intelligence within an organization from a strategic perspective. To this end, a Competitive Intelligence System (CIS) has been designed to be applicable and flexible in an initial stage, to a small and/or medium enterprise.
